Welcome

Planning for the 2010 Emergency Management Symposium is now well underway. Be sure to attend this year’s event at the Old Mill Inn and Spa on November 17 and 18.

The 2009 Emergency Management Symposium promised a forum for city-wide emergency responders to think about and discuss preparedness, response and recovery. We delivered.

This year’s symposium theme, Working Together – the Road to Resiliency, will showcase some of the most significant emergency management events in 2010 including:
- Earthquake in Haiti – A first hand account from the front lines
- Vancouver Olympics – Major event planning across multiple jurisdictions
- G8/G20 Summit – Managing the largest security event in Canadian history, the integration of security and municipal consequence management planning

This year’s event will showcase five Plenary Sessions along with nine breakouts to choose from. The low price of $495 includes access to all sessions, a special dinner with two keynote addresses, lunches, refreshment breaks, free parking and a reduced rate for accommodations at The Old Mill Inn & Spa.

Make the Toronto Emergency Management Symposium your conference of choice for 2010!
